Chick’n’Cone Fort Lauderdale

Today I decided to surprise my husband with a mystery drive to the brand new chicken spot in town Chick’n’Cone. It’s such a cool little spot and I sincerely enjoyed my fun cone filled with chicken. Here’s my straight to the point, honest review of my experience. This is not paid affiliated. This is from personal experience. Location 920 N Flagler Drive, Fort Lauderdale 33304 In the same plaza as Glitch Bar in the spot Beer Punx (RIP) used to be. https://www.facebook.com/chicknconeftl/ Parking There’s a good amount of free parking in the plaza and extra free parking available across the street in the giant lot. Vibe Bright, calm, casual order at the cashier vibe. Simple, Easy to read menu. Friendly and very helpful staff. Menu Easy to read and not an overwhelming amount of options. I tried the Buffalo Blue and the Yella BBQ with some Cajun Fries. The Buffalo blue is just as it sounds: chicken in buffalo with a hint of blue cheese. I really enjoyed this flavor. But I wish I could …

My 5 Favorite Tall Girl Brand Finds

As explained in Tales From a Tall Girl I’m 6’1” and I have a very hard time finding clothes that fit in length. Here are the 5 brands I’ve personally had a lot of success with. This is not paid affiliated. This is from personal experience. 1. ASOS I love ASOS because they not only offer a shop by fit option so you can filter by tall sizes but they list out the models height for length reference. Old Navy Honestly, I avoided Old Navy for a long time because all I could think of were those fleece jackets they sold with the giant letters screaming Old Navy. But within the past few years or so they’ve come out with a new style of Jean called rockstar jeans and I have yet to try a pair I didn’t like. 3. Fabletics Looking for some leggings that go below the ankle? Fabletics is definitely the vibe. The 7/8 Long leggings are …

“Woah, you’re tall” a statement I hear too often while just making my way through life. Hi I’m Kelly, your local tall girl and for some reason my height comes as a surprise to many people. Let me just start by clarifying a few things: Yes, I’m Tall, 6’1″ to be exact No, I don’t play basketball or volleyball Yes, It is very difficult finding clothes that fit properly Yes, I do wear heels on special occasions I feel bad for the girls that dance behind me in dance class (Sorry ladies) I don’t fit in a bathtub or regular airplane seats As I mentioned above, it is damn near impossible to find clothes that fit properly. Why should I have to resort to shopping in the mens section for some things just to ensure length? Even some brands that advertise their apparel in tall sizes just aren’t long enough. After years of buying, trying and returning, I’ve found a few brands that I know I can count on the fit. Check out my 5 …
